No Smoking in the house. Smokers will only smoke outside, they are to be lit, smoked,
enjoyed, extinguished and discarded (trash can). Sponsors of smoking guests are responsible for their adherence to this policy.
No Tampering with or Disabling the Smoke Detectors –
While we don’t anticipate any fires, smoke does happen (take burnt popcorn for example).
Smoke detectors are there for everyone’s safety and protection.

MEMBER GUEST

- Members must sponsor and are responsible for their guest's actions and fees.
- The number of guests may be limited on popular weekends.
- Sponsors assign guests to the appropriate bed, considering later arriving MGMs have priority and some prefer certain
beds. Guests must be identified on the bed status board along with their member sponsor to facilitate communications
regarding bed bumping.
- Members talk to the guest's sponsor to bed bump up to 10pm Friday night.
GUEST FEES
Guest Fees are $60 summer ($25 winter) for the weekend, regardless of whether it is Fri & Sat or just
one night. Each mid-week night, (Sun-Thur) the guest fee is $25 summer ($10 winter). This amount is established to permit
members the opportunity to introduce the Mardi Gras/Dewey lifestyle to their friends without becoming overly cost prohibitive.
Summer guest fees increase $10 after each weekend visit. On the day of arrival fill out guest envelope and slide payment in
the guest fee box .
ALUMNI GUEST FEES

Alumni are sponsored by the house. Alumni Guests can not bump other guests. Alumni Guest fees
are $50 per night. (Same as Guest Fees in the winter)
Mid Week Rentals
When rented during the Mid Week. All members, their transportation and their personal belongings (excluding
storage Tub) are to be gone by 2pm Sunday and are not to arrive earlier than 3pm on Friday.
PARKING
The house has parking. Cars can park in the yard and driveway. If you block a car, leave your keys on the parking
lot key board. Guests must obtain a Dewey daily street parking permit from the Dewey Town Hall on Rodney Street "prior" to
arrival.
BED PRIORITY
- Full Share Members and scheduled Half Share Members get a bed before guests.
- No bed reservations. Claim a bed upon arrival with your bag or better yet sheets, and its yours for the weekend.
Placing your belongings on additional beds could be misconstrued as taking two beds. Couples in double beds are the most efficient
use of our sleeping accommodations.
- Mark the Bed Status Board to help the next arriving MGM determine which beds are available. The Bed Status Board
is for information only, since your bag or sheets actually claim your bed.
STORAGE
Storage is limited!!! Each person will
have the use of 1 plastic 10 gallon storage tub and a place to store it. You are not to leave personal items anywhere
else within the house.
Beach chairs and bikes are to be stored on hooks along the fence in the back yard.
SECURITY
No Tampering with or Disabling the security cameras–
While we don’t anticipate unwanted people entering the house, it does happen.
The cameras are there for everyone’s safety and protection.
Lock up valuables in your car. Out of sight is out of mind. Last one out Sunday, locks the house.
CLEANING
Please clean up after yourself, make your bed, empty the trash and vacuum your
room upon departure. Please pay special attention to removing personal items from the bathrooms after
each use. Any bath products left in the showers can and most likely will be used by people you don't know!
The house will be periodically professionally cleaned.
(Normally once every 3 weeks)
REFRIGERATOR
Members should supply their own food & drink. Bag & label (with name
and date) anything you don't want to share. Toss perishables upon departure. Items that are not
labeled or has expired will be discarded on Sundays.
PARTIES
After hour parties are the Dewey Way of Life. Close windows and deck doors
to contain sound. Loud voices & music on outside decks should be avoided. Please be considerate of fellow MGMs extremely
late at night.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
There is none. We trust you. However, you break it, you buy
it.
CORPORATE MEETING ROOM
(Once known as WestWing)
Is for guests of the Corporation only.
Members do not have use of this room.
